FILMING of the Hollywood thriller I, Frankenstein resumed yesterday, after the mess left by a mob of destructive hooligans was cleaned up.
On Sunday at 1am, hooligans barged in and trashed the set. Police are investigating the destructive rampage, which saw the movie's mock graveyard sustain serious damage.For the past six weeks Park Orchards has been home to the multi-million-dollar blockbuster, starring Aaron Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski and Miranda Otto, with major scenes shot there last week.
Production cleared up the mess on Monday, and returned to film pick-up scenes at the eastern suburbs set yesterday.
Security has now been beefed up on site, while the main production unit has moved to another location. The blockbuster will employ 500 cast and crew.
